Online conference: Culture and organ donation

This online conference will explore barriers to equitable access to donation and transplantation for people of African and Black Caribbean, Asian heritage and other ethnic minority groups.
Speakers and panellists:
- In his Keynote speech, Gurch Randhawa PhD FFPH DL will speak on how we can tackle these barriers by adopting a whole system approach.
- Aninda MSCS, FACHE, will share with us how an AI tool is improving family approaches in Donor Network West, California.
- Pallavi Kumar from Mohan foundation will share about her experience of donation in India and her with the MOHAN Foundation.
- Orin Lewis OBE will kick us off with why consideration of culture matters in tackling inequalities. Mark C. on Community Grants Programme.
- Rohit Sagoo QN will give a perspective from diaspora nursing perspective. And Shivum Kakkad will share his family's experience after they agreed to donation after their fathers' sad demise.
