Identity Boxes Online Workshop

Identity Boxes Online Workshop
Have you been impacted by organ donation and transplantation? Are you a member of a donor family, a living organ donor, have cared for someone who has had a transplant, received a solid organ transplant yourself or are doing organ donation and transplantation research?
The Blood and Transplant Research Unit in Organ Donation and Transplantation at Cambridge and Newcastle Universities has launched a new project called Identity Boxes. The project aims to use art/craft to talk about and understand the experiences of those who have been, and continue to be, impacted by organ donation and transplantation.
Through an online workshop, you'll get to meet others, talk about your experiences and decorate a box to put memorable items into. The photographs of the finished boxes will form part of a public exhibition in Newcastle in Summer 2025.
The online workshop is on Wednesday 16th July at 6pm to 7:30pm. All materials will be provided and participants will be compensated for their time and involvement.
If you would like to be a part of this exciting new project please contact Hannah.Murray@newcastle.ac.uk before 1st July 2025.
