This week is Organ Donation Week 2025, and it is time to shine a light on the incredible gift of organ donation. Thousands of lives in the UK are saved or transformed each year through organ transplants, and just one organ donor can save the lives of up to nine people.
Throughout the week, we will be sharing some of the important research that is happening right now in the field of organ donation to enhance the ways that donated organs are used and improve outcomes for transplant recipients.
